Egypt was among the biggest improvers in the 2014 corruption perceptions index issued by Transparency International.

North Africa's largest economy climbed 20 spots to the 94th rank out of 175 countries, the Berlin-based group said today. Egypt was ranked 114th in 2013. It scored 37 points out of 100 in 2014, a 5 point increase over last year.
